The level of packing depends on the destination. For international moves, furniture is wrapped using 6 ply paper blankets (waxed, multi layered & cushioned) Fragile items such as glassware, china and ornaments will be wrapped in acid free tissue and bubble wrap. Personal effects are packed into 200 Kraft strength double walled packing cartons. By using these products and our extensive experience, you can rest assured that your possessions are receiving the maximum level of protection. Our packing teams have extensive knowledge of the packing requirements for antique items and valuable china/glassware. For these effects, we recommend a wooden case. Your items would be professionally export packed and secured within a custom made wooden crate. Speak to a member of our export team for further information. For European moves, your personal effects will be packed into 200 Kraft strength double walled packing cartons. Most removal companies will simply wrap removal blankets around your furnishings, however we do not believe that this process provides enough protection. Our European packing teams use a revolutionary new product called bubble blanket. This product provides exceptional protection for your furniture and is superior to the traditional removal blanket which can fall off your furnishings in transit. Book cartons: 46 x 46 x 30 cms. These boxes are ideal for packing small, heavy items such as books, cds, dvds, videos and ornaments. T/cartons: 61 x 51 x 41 cms. These boxes are the most popular for shipping a variety of possessions including clothing, shoes, kitchen items, etc. Linen cartons: 61 x 61 x 61 cms. Linen cartons are used primarily for light, bulky items such as duvets, blankets, pillows, etc. |

Bicycle cartons: 149 x 38 x 87 cms. DIY skills required! Bicycle cartons will accommodate most standard size push bikes. Removal of the pedals is necessary and the handle bars must be rotated so that they are in line with the frame. Simple tools will help with this task. Rolls of Bubble Wrap: Each roll is 100 metres in length and 50 cms wide. Use of bubble wrap is required for fragile items such as china, glass, ornaments, etc. Self Adhesive packing tape: We provide high quality packing tape with every order of cartons and/or bubble wrap. |
